Eskil Kauppi

Born in Stockholm, Eskil Kauppi is recognized as one of Sweden’s most exciting young composers. He has written for ensembles such as Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, The Swedish Wind Ensemble and members of The Swedish Radio Orchestra. Eskil is also greatly in demand for commissions of chamber music, having written for Astrid Bjelland at The Tampere Flute Festival prize winner’s concert as well as for established saxophonist Theo Hillborg, bassoonist Henrik Blixt and clarinetist Mats Wallin of The Swedish Radio Orchestra.
